So sometimes this happens.... sure. (passing a tandem lookout hurts, as does pillar of flame, but this just isnt close)
Pack 1 pick 2:

My Pick:

If this was P1p1 i'd probably balk between fettergiest and wolfir, but wolfirs probably where i want to be anyway. Given Sigarda is in my pool, the choice was easy.
Pack 1 pick 3:

i wasnt liking the green or white cards here, so I D'd the barter.
My Pick:

Pack 1 pick 4:

two drop. ding.

Pack 1 pick 5:

people tell me i'm crazy for preferring the swine to vorstclaw. While a 7/7 is huge, 7 mana is closer to infinity than it is to 4. My Pick:

Pack 1 pick 6:

two drop, ding. not sure which of these two drops is better, TBH, but I think the guide is higher. Also liking the Explorer in this pack, too back this juicy pack came to me so late, might have tabled something awesome. My Pick:

Pack 1 pick 7:

My Pick:

Not taht i need another giant angel, but, why not. cut my color if nothing else.
Pack 1 pick 8:

this card is absurd in a removal light format. opponents are forced to double block more often, and feel safer doing so due to lack of removal. This allows for sweet blowouts :)

Pack 2 pick 3:

I started high fiving my friends when i saw the 3rd pick borderland ranger, they gave me the Must Be Nice face when i announced that "OMG theres a banishing stroke too"

Pack 2 pick 4:

two drop. ding. Another farbog explorer here that wont table. :(
My Pick:

Pack 3 pick 2:

booooom.... love this guy. follows up wandering wolf better than anything.
My Pick:

Pack 3 pick 3:

while this will likely just get sided in for the same matches as Eaten by Spiders, i didn't feel i'd actually want two of these conditional removal spells, even against a heavy flier deck, and decided having some reach action would be better. My Pick:

Pack 3 pick 4:

a little too early for me to be taking thiss :( My Pick:

The deck is built here: https://twitter.com/torerotutor/status/205992565873459200/photo/1/large
This was a 3-0 beast of a deck. Most games I won on the back of a sick rare, and to be honest none of my opponents interacted with me at all. I did however forget I had a Sigarda in my deck round 3, and when my opponent presented a board state that I didn't think I could beat, I drew a Sigarda and thought, "Oh, yeah, I guess I won." Again, there was tons of good black open in this draft, but pretty happy about this one.
